Job Duties:

Seasonal employee needed to assist with the planting, spraying and harvesting of corn, soybeans, barley, and canola. Employee must have verifiable 3 months experience of successfully operating and maintaining articulated tractors, variable-rate planters, 2012 and newer combines, self-propelled sprayers, mixing pesticides/chemical formulations and driving semi-trucks. Employee will be required to complete all functions of general farm labor duties including routine maintenance/repairs of equipment and buildings. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as tenure, exceptional performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements:

Job requires the ability to crawl under/on equipment, climb grain bin ladders and stairs, lift 60 lbs, extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Non-smoking work environment, housing. Employee must read and communicate in English. Employer will conduct random, post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing or refusal to take drug test may result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire background check at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by company hiring practices as allowed by law. May be required to weekends and holidays. Require positive references from previous employers. Employee must be able to obtain ND driver license within 30 days of hire and be insurable as a driver.
