Job Duties:

Work corn, tomatoes, almonds, wheat, and alfalfa. Perform planting, bloom picking, runner setting, watering, weeding, planting-growing-trimming, and pest control. The employer attests that workers will weed using long-handled hoes. The employer attests they will abide by the 8 Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c). Work in a support role for trim operations during harvest. Install and maintain irrigation systems, apply, and remove plastic covers to fields, clear fields of debris, and lift up to 60 pounds. Workers may operate tractors, to apply fertilizer, chemicals, and harvest crops. For the harvest of crops, equipment provided will include a swather, hay rake, and baler. Driving tractor: The worker will drive a tractor to cultivate and prepare fields for planting the crops. Field Maintenance: To repair irrigation equipment such as PVC pipe, drip tape, and valves. All to have equipment in a good running state during the field planting, and service during harvest. Repairer irrigation: Equipment provided: tractors, swathers, shovel, reciprocating saw, wrenches. Workers will be expected to comply with all provisions of this Clearance Order and the Company's work rules, policies and procedures, and to perform any and all assigned tasks in a work-person-like and efficient manner. Failure to do so will subject the worker to the employer's disciplinary procedures.

Special Requirements:

We require one month of recent and verifiable experience within the past two years working in diversified crops, handling manual and mechanical tasks, including agricultural field work. This position requires a minimum of one month for the employee to get a full understanding of the job and responsibilities. Must be able to understand work & safety instructions in English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace.
