- Job Duties:
- Prepare fields for cultivation; manual shovel work; planting, cultivating and maintaining soybean crop and maintaining, cultivating sugarcane crop including harvest; spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers; minor maintenance and operation of farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment on farm property; farm field and shop sanitation duties. Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Work is to be completed in weather from extreme heat to rain and extreme cold. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker, without charge or deposit. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the 3/4 guarantee over the life of the contract. Possibility of work breakdown will not reduce workers guarantee over the life of the contract.

- Housing is provided at no cost for workers. The job opportunity is subject to the applicable H-2A adverse compensation adjustment of -$1.35. Drug testing relates to safety assurance in a working environment. Testing positive or failure to comply with the random drug testing may result in immediate termination from employment.
