Job Duties:

We are a diversified farm/ranch and job duties include the following, but is not limited to: Row crop farming operations (soybeans and corn) and hay farming: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as planter, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine, swather, baler and rake. Operate machinery to assist with cutting and drying the hay - like mowers, rake and tedder. Use balers to package hay for storage and transportation. Moving of hay bales Assist with irrigation of crops. Maintenance of pivots for irrigation purposes. Repairing and maintaining machinery and fences Assist with general farmyard maintenance tasks, like mowing weeds and maintaining grounds Crops: Hay, soybeans, and corn

Special Requirements:

Minimum of three months verifiable experience is required. Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30-90 days of hire. Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions. No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment. All tools are provided by the employer.
