Job Duties:

Crops: Asparagus, Beets, Carrots, Cucumbers, Cabbage, Celery, Celeriac, Fennel, Kohlrabi, Winter Squash, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Peppers, Onions, Shallots, Sweet Corn, Indian Corn, Gourds, Pumpkins, Picking Cucumbers, Broccoli, Pickles, Green Beans, and other Vegetables Planting, picking, washing, packaging, stacking, loading produce, hoeing, weeding, setting up and down of irrigation, installation and removal of tomato stakes, stringing tomatoes, and removing plastic from the field, general daily clean up including washing crates, sweeping floors in work areas, scrubbing the floor area, picking up unused packaging and pallets and any other activities for harvest, picking apples and sorting apples and other vegetables, packing corn, packing shed, husking corn in packing shed, field harvest and all crops, clean shops, repair fencing, maintain grounds to protect plants from pests. General greenhouse duties.

Special Requirements:

2 months experience working in a commercial greenhouse. On-site-training for curtain task. Applicants must furnish affirmative job references from recent employers operating comparable operations establishing acceptable previous experience. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time. Workers are subject to random drug testing at no cost to the employee. All drug testing will occur after the worker begins his or her employment and is not a part of the interview process. Failing or refusing a drug test will result in immediate termination.
