- Job Duties:
- Daily care of cattle livestock during non-winter months. Check water and food supply for animals daily. Inspect and maintain livestock health to include vaccinations. Distribute feed bales to livestock, as needed, manually or using farm equipment. Build and maintain electric fences to enclose cattle. Assist with crop activities, as needed, during growing and harvest seasons. The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Saturday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Potential nights and additional weekend hours may be required depending on the animals and weather.
