Job Duties:

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm equipment, which can include running a rock picker, cultivate, land roller, telehandlers, forklifts, spraying crops, harvest and store grain crops, loading hay bales and stacking them with equipment, possibly operating trucks with grain trailers to local co-ops, running manure equipment or helping with loading and unloading the manure. Cleaning out grain bins is also a possibility. Be able to attach and detach farm implements, such as disk or stir pumps. Must be able to check on fuel and fuel themselves, check oil levels, hydraulic levels, etc. in the farm equipment they are running to ensure the equipment is properly greased and ready to go for the day, just daily maintenance. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, but assistance is always there if needed. We do prefer that H2A employee speaks English and has basic writing and reading knowledge. No minimum education required. Prefer them to have a drivers license or be able to get one within 30 days. Farming with: Alfalfa, Corn, Soy Beans

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion. Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality, and work schedules, as repeated absenteeism, failure to meet job expectations, misconduct, insubordination, or violations of safety
