Job Duties:

Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and rock picker or various farm equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, or shovels, Operate towed machines such as seed drills to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul grain to storage, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. May involve climbing ladders & grain bins. Till soil; plant and cultivate. General Farm maintenance and work. Knowledge of tractor installed with GPS and computerized monitors. Clean & Maintain Shop and work area/grounds.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.NO TEXTING during working hours. No smoking in equipment, vehicles or housing. No alcohol during business hours. Grounds for immediate termination include, but are not limited to, use of illegal drugs, operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, vandalizing employer housing, equipment, or vehicles, or being charged with a misdemeanor or felony Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
