Job Duties:
Drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors, ATVs, and self-propelled machinery to till soil, prepare fields, and plant crops; Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on farm vehicles, implements, and equipment; Set up and operate irrigation equipment, including laying pipes, maintaining ditches, and ensuring adequate water supply to crops; Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to crops using hand sprayers and other equipment; Conduct regular crop inspections to monitor growth, pest activity, and plant health; Plant seeds and seedlings using various planting techniques and equipment, including seed drill sand planters; Cultivate crops through mechanical or manual methods, including weeding and applying fertilizers; Drive and control farm equipment to irrigate, cultivate, and harvest crops, adjusting implements as needed; Harvest crops using machinery or by hand, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality; Load and unload harvested crops into trucks or storage containers, maintaining organization and efficiency; Store and pack crops for transportation, preparing them for market or storage facilities; Transport harvested crops to storage facilities, operating trucks and conveyors as needed; Clean and maintain storage areas and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency; Perform general farm labor tasks as needed, including landscaping, clearing debris, and maintaining farm grounds; Report any machinery malfunctions or operational issues to supervisors. Warehouse labor, including but not limited to: operating box making machines, hand packing crops, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, stacking boxes. Workers may receive salary increases and bonuses based on merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer. Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotating shifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may change during the workday depending on crop and weather conditions or other needs. Workers will perform a variety of general farm labor tasks as assigned, consistent with the job description and within the certified hours. On August 25, 2025, DOL rescinded the rule prohibiting employers from filing a single temporary agricultural labor certification to hire nonimmigrant workers under the H-2A visa classification into the United States after the first date of need. As such, the employer is filing a single batch for workers who are intended to be brought into the U.S. with the approximate staggered start dates: 1. March 2, 2026 - 15 workers 2. April 6, 2026 - 15 workers 3. May 11, 2026 - 30 workers 4. June 22, 2026 - 70 workers
