Job Duties:

Performs combination of the following manual duties involved in transplanting onions. Will stoop, pull weeds, rocks & dirt. Work requires standing and bending repetitively for approximately 8 hours a day. Some days may be longer depending on crop & weather conditions. Will clear brush from hedge rows with pitch forks. Clean on and around, harvesting equipment & buildings. Will drive tractors & trucks for planting, transplanting, cultivation and harvesting. Will sort onions & potatoes, unload trucks, handle empty 20- bushel boxes during harvest time. Repair boxes with hammer & nails. No smoking, drinking alcohol and no cell phone use allowed. Cell phone use is allowed in a Bonafide emergency. Workers referred against this order must have a minimum of three months verifiable experience in performing the tasks posted in this job order. Due to health & safety requirements, applicants must be able to speak & understand basic English. Saturday work may be requested depending on the crop & weather.
