- Job Duties:
- Prepare calving facility, assist during calving season, medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sickness. Care for and monitored newborn calves and mothers. Isolate sick calves. move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Wean all calves during the weaning season. Operate farming equipment, in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul small grain crops. bale and stack hay. Transport crops to storage facilities. Mow yards. fix and repair fencing General Farm maintenance duties such as serving equipment, cleaning out barns and shop work
