Job Duties:

Workers will perform hand-harvesting of blueberries by selecting fruit that meets required ripeness, size, and color standards and placing it carefully into harvest containers to prevent bruising or damage. Harvested blueberries will be carried in buckets and delivered to designated collection points on trucks, where full containers will be exchanged for empty ones before returning to assigned rows to continue harvesting. Workers must handle fruit carefully during all phases of harvesting and transfer. In addition to harvesting activities, workers will perform general field labor related to blueberry production, including cleaning work areas, removing weeds, and supporting compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). Duties may include loading and unloading harvested product and materials as needed. The position requires frequent lifting of items weighing up to 30 pounds and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods under varying and extreme weather conditions.
