Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Job duties include crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; manually cutting up fish bait and check traps; wash and grade crawfish for shipment, load and upload trucks, preparing farmland; planting/harvesting rice, milo and soybeans; field preparation; water maintenance; apply fertilizer; keep field road and levees in good condition; repair and maintain farm vehicles, equipment and other structures; operate farm equipment. Must be able to lift/carry sufficient weight to move equipment and material necessary to complete assigned tasks. The Employer will rely on workers own representations and observations of workers to assess if the workers meet this qualification. Random drug screening upon hire (paid for by employer); exposure to extreme temps, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements. 8:30 am to 5:00 pm daily work schedule with 30 minute unpaid lunch included. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually available. Higher wage may be paid at sole discretion of employer.
