Job Duties:

Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Dragline crew members support the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of slurry application systems using high-capacity dragline equipment. This role involves physical labor, machinery operation, and field setup in a fast-paced, weather-dependent agricultural environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with setup and teardown of dragline slurry systems across various field sites • Operate pumps, tractors, hose reels, and related equipment • Monitor flow, pressure, and equipment performance during application • Transport and connect hoses across fields with attention to safety and efficiency • Perform routine maintenance and light mechanical repairs on equipment • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment • Communicate clearly with team members via two-way radio • Follow safety protocols and report any incidents immediately • Represent the company respectfully on job sites and in public

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
