Job Duties:
Workers will be picking onions by hand according to size, shape, maturity level, and/or ripeness in the onion fields. Also workers will be picking and packing sweet potatoes in the sweet potato fields. Also, workers will be picking a variety of peppers according to shape, maturity level, and/or ripeness. Other duties may include but not be limited to performing field maintenance, repairing and installing irrigation lines in the fields, and/or laying plastic/mulch in the fields. Pay rate for all aspects picking, and packing sweet potatoes will be on an hourly rate of $14.47 per hour (Employer provides housing to workers). Pay rate for picking onions will be on a piece rate of $0.75 per 5-gallon bucket, with a minimum wage guarantee of $14.47 per hour (Employer provides housing to the workers). Picking peppers will pay on an hourly rate of $14.47 per hour, with a minimum wage guarantee of $14.47 per hour. (Employer provides housing to the workers). All other duties for this work order will be paid on an hourly rate of $14..47 per hour (Employer provides housing to the workers); 35 hour per week; must be able to work the entire period; must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs; All tools will be provided at no cost to the workers.
