- Job Duties:
- Seasonal, temporary workers needed for Louisiana farm during hay season. Job duties include tractor driving, field preparation, water maintenance, fertilizing and harvesting crop; manual shovel work, hoe weeds, spot spray, general farm labor; repair and maintain equipment, farm, field, levees, roads, shops; fence construction, feed cattle, washing/waxing equipment, mowing & weed eating, dozer/excavation operation; random drug screening upon hire, post-accident, or upon suspicion (paid for by employer); exposure to extreme temps; frequent stooping, bending and kneeling; excessive sitting/walking; extensive pushing/pulling; repetitive movements. Must be able to lift/carry sufficient weight (approximately 50 pounds) to move equipment and material necessary to complete assigned tasks. The Employer will rely on workers own representations and observations of workers to assess if the workers meet this qualification
