Job Duties:
Workers will assist with seasonal agricultural support operations from March 31 to November 7. Duties include operating ground support equipment and machinery to assist in preparing fields for aerial application services. Workers will be responsible for staging, loading, and transferring dry and liquid agricultural materials such as seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products. Tasks include cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Workers will perform basic maintenance on equipment, including checking fluid levels, inspecting hoses and fittings, and assisting with repairs under supervision. Duties also involve setting up field markers and ensuring accurate placement for aerial application. Workers are expected to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with recordkeeping, monitoring inventory of materials, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This work supports active farming operations in the region and is critical during planting and growing seasons. The job is physically demanding, performed outdoors in various weather conditions, and involves repetitive tasks suited for entry-level workers. The position requires punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team under the direction of the employer or supervisors. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
