Job Duties:

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops .Main job is to harvest fruits and vegetables by hand. Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants in planter mechanisms at specified intervals. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Regulate greenhouse conditions, and indoor and outdoor irrigation systems. Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems. Plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, and prune plants, shrubs, and trees, using gardening tools. Place products in containers according to grade and mark grades on containers. Drive trucks to haul crops, tools, supplies and workers. Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.Farming with: Alfalfa, Beans, Corn, Cucumber, Hay, Potatoes, Squash, Strawberries, Tomato, Watermelon, Pumpkins, Green pepper.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicle
