- Job Duties:
- Nursery work and general maintenance. Work is performed outdoors and indoors under supervision of area growers or shipping supervisors. Must follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions. Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job continues in all types of weather. Must be able to lift 60lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and be able to carry 60lbs. while walking various distances. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination. Trabajo en vivero y mantenimiento general. El trabajo se realiza tanto al aire libre como en interiores, bajo la supervisión de los encargados de cultivo o de los supervisores de envíos. Es obligatorio seguir todos los procedimientos de seguridad e instrucciones del supervisor. Se requiere estar de pie, agacharse, inclinarse y estirarse durante periodos prolongados. El trabajo se realiza en todo tipo de condiciones climáticas. Se debe poder levantar 27 kg (60 libras) hasta la altura del hombro de forma repetitiva durante la jornada laboral y poder transportar 27 kg (60 libras) caminando distancias variables. El uso de teléfonos móviles u otros dispositivos electrónicos personales durante el horario laboral está estrictamente prohibido, excepto para llamadas relacionadas con el trabajo o en casos de emergencia. El incumplimiento de esta norma puede resultar en la rescisión inmediata del contrato.
