Job Duties:

Operates large farm equipment and machinery much of which is equipped primarily with Greenstar GPS such as tractors, sprayers, module builders, tillage implements for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn, cotton, soybeans; Operates tractor and towed implement to furrow and cultivate soil; Drives tractor and operates seed drill or planter to plant crops; Assisting with the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems, pivot and poly pipe, for watering crops; Lays out poly along designated settings in field; Observes irrigation to ensure uniform distribution of water to all areas; Disassembles system and moves it to next location after specified time intervals; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Unload crops onto conveyor to storage locations or elevators; Prepares harvesting machine by adjusting speeds of cutters, blowers, and conveyors and height of cutting head or depth of digging blades according to type, height, weight, and condition of crop being harvested, and contour of terrain; Perform routine repairs and maintenance to machinery in the field; Drives self-propelled harvesting machine such as combines and pickers to cut, thresh, clean, store crops; Drives farm vehicle; Minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
