Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Basic knowledge of farming practices and equipment; Preparing fields for planting by tilling soil and managing weeds; Planting cotton seeds and ensuring proper spacing and depth; Spraying crops with pesticides or herbicides as needed for pest control; Harvesting cotton at the appropriate time for optimal yield; Maintaining and troubleshooting pivot and drip irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution; Performing routine maintenance on vehicles and farm machinery to keep them in working order; Utilizing basic mechanic skills to perform repairs and adjustments on equipment; Communicating crop progress and any issues to the farm manager regularly; Maintain all vehicles and equipment; Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
