Job Duties:
We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season for corn, wheat, soybeans, and popcorn. Employment is seasonal due to the labor demands associated with planting, growing, maintaining, and harvesting these crops. Employees will be required to assist with all duties related to crop production as assigned during the season. Job duties include, but are not limited to: preparing fields for planting; attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, and irrigation equipment; performing planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, irrigating, and harvesting activities; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control weeds, insects, and disease; installing, maintaining, and repairing pivot and other irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops and materials by hand or using forklifts, augers, conveyors, or hand tools; loading hoppers and conveyors to supply machinery; and driving farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools. Employees will also be responsible for observing machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; manipulating controls to adjust equipment; inspecting, adjusting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery, vehicles, and irrigation systems; recording required agricultural data; and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Additional duties may include diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment issues; disassembling, cleaning, repairing, or replacing defective machinery or parts; fabricating or repairing components using hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, saws, or machine tools; installing and maintaining farm machinery, engines, plumbing, and sprinkler systems; lubricating, testing, and reassembling equipment; and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Special Requirements:
The job requires working outdoors in extreme temperatures and exposure to varying weather conditions. Duties involve extensive sitting, walking, pushing, and pulling; frequent stooping, bending, and repetitive movements. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. A valid, regular drivers license is required. A minimum of three (3) months of prior agricultural or related experience is required.
