Job Duties:

We require seasonal employees to assist with our corn, wheat, sorghum (milo), millet, and sunflower crop operation. Employees will perform all assigned duties associated with planting, growing, and harvesting these crops. Our growing season runs from April through November, which is when labor is needed for field preparation, planting, crop maintenance, irrigation, and harvest activities. During the non-H-2A months, work is not available because there are no crops to plant or harvest. Job duties include preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, and other farm equipment; and engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting activities. Employees will install, maintain, and repair pivot irrigation systems; load and unload crops or materials manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers; load hoppers, containers, or conveyors using forklifts, augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks; manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; operate equipment to harvest crops; drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools; and clean and organize farm buildings as needed. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
