Job Duties:

The workers will perform experienced agricultural equipment operation and fieldwork associated with grain farming operations. Duties include operating and controlling farm machinery and equipment used for cultivating, planting, seeding, spraying, and harvesting grain crops. Workers will prepare fields for planting, monitor crop conditions, and carry out timely agricultural tasks based on seasonal and weather-dependent production needs. During harvest, workers will operate combines, tractors, and related equipment, manage grain carts, and assist with the transport and handling of harvested grain. Workers will also perform post-harvest activities, including cleaning and maintaining grain storage bins, handling stored grain, and assisting with loading and unloading grain as part of normal farming operations. Equipment operation will be conducted in accordance with standard farming practices to ensure efficiency, crop quality, and safety. Workers may perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment to support continuous operations. All duties are directly related to grain crop production and must be completed within specific agronomic time frames to ensure successful crop yield and prevent loss. Due to the nature of the equipment and the timing requirements of grain farming, workers must have prior experience performing similar agricultural equipment operation and fieldwork. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
