Job Duties:

• Till soil, plant and cultivate grain • Attach and operate plows, discs, drills, sprayers, harvesters • Drive and operate tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment • Operate seed drills and manure spreaders • Perform irrigation activities and maintain irrigation systems • Load and unload crops using augers, conveyors, forklifts • Observe and repair farm machinery • Weigh and record harvested crops • Drive farm trucks to haul crops and supplies • Harvest grain crops

Special Requirements:

Minimum of three months verifiable experience. Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30-90 days of hire. Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions and sometimes severe weather conditions like thunderstorms and tornadoes. No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles. All tools are provided by the employer.
