Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 53-7064 Packers and Packagers: Examine and inspect crops to ensure that quality and specifications are met; Sift according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality; Function and monitor grain conditioning tools to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards; Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information; Discard inferior, diseased, rotten, or defective crops or foreign matter, and place acceptable products for processing; Monitor and report grain grades; Monitor the condition of harvested corn in storage bins to ensure optimal quality before processing; Operate a precision cleaner to effectively size the corn and remove impurities from the harvest; Utilize color sorting technology to identify and eliminate foreign materials and off-color corn, ensuring only the highest-quality product proceeds to the next stage; Efficiently manage the bagging bin process, ensuring proper fill levels and packaging integrity; Oversee the loadout process, ensuring accurate loading of bags and effective communication with transport teams; Conduct regular quality checks at each stage of the processing line to guarantee compliance with food safety and quality standards; Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation and rectify any issues promptly; Maintain accurate records of production levels, quality assessments, and equipment maintenance.

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
