Job Duties:
Worker will be performing job duties related to SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment operator. Job duties will include: Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Equipment to be operated includes, tractors, combines, sprayers, pickup, loaders, skid steer, forklift, tillage tools such as disks, chisels, cultivators, harrows, as well as planters, drills, and other towed equipment. Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 1 worker to begin April 1 and 1 worker to begin July 1.

Special Requirements:
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
