Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery( Most of which is equipped with GPS) such as combines and swathers to plows, vertical tillage tools, and air seeders. Be able to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, rye, mung beans, soybeans, and corn; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; inform farm managers of crop progress; load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facility; clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; examine and inspect containers, materials, products to ensure that product quality and packaging specifications are met; function and monitor grain conditioning tools to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards including seed cleaners and color sorters; workers must be able to drive and operate forklifts to load and unload trucks; while forklifts and other equipment is available, workers may be expected to lift and move 50lb bags of grain short distances. Workers must be self motivated but also be able to work as a team. Employer may provide pay increases for longevity and experience. Workers must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
