Job Duties:

Crops/Commodities: blackberries. Cultivate, hand-harvest, grade and field pack blackberries. Pick/harvest berries according to quality standards. Grade, size, and sort product according to color, shape, size, appearance, feel, and/or quality, in accordance with supervisor's instructions and employer standards. Inspect products for damage/defects and discard inferior products and foreign matter. Place product in clamshells/trays and other containers according to grade and weight. Handle product carefully to prevent damage. Must follow quality control standards and production procedures. Clean/sanitize fields and work areas. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, honey bees, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related chemicals may affect a worker's ability to perform the job. Work will be performed at various fields.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 25 lbs.
