- Mixes feed and additives, fill feed troughs with feed and waters livestock. Examines animals to detect diseases and injuries, vaccinates animals by using syringes. Spray livestock with insecticide. Clip identifying notches or symbols on animals or brans animal. Maintain ranch buildings and equipment. 3 months experience with cattle. Must have a valid drivers license
