- Job Duties:
- Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, fertilize, and harvest crops such as corn and soybeans. They will haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. All items transported will be the property of the Employer and there will be no commercial hauling, so there will be a CDL needed. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment, structures & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed. Requirements: - Employees have valid driver's licenses or must obtain one in 30 days. - Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. - NO TEXTING. - No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds. - No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged. - Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record-keeping and safety reasons. - No Educational level is required. - Must have six months of tractor driving experience with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand computerized monitors.
