Job Duties:

Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self propelled combine. General lubrication, upkeep like fuel up, check fluids and cleaning equipment. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, planters, sprayers, tillage equipment, fertilizer spreaders, etc. Tire maintenance (Inflating, changing, or patching). Mowing with riding lawn equipment or a batwing mower. Weed eating and lawn maintenance on farm properties. Field Rock collection using Polaris Ranger and John Deere Skid Loader. Fence line maintenance (Controlling weeds and removal of obsolete fence lines). Farm buildings upkeep. Tree maintenance on farm properties. Additional Requirements: Work hours may vary from week to week based on weather, crop maturity, and workload demands. Additional hours could be made available to the workers if they are interested and the workload allows it.
