Job Duties:

The Farm Workers will use manual and powered equipment to plant, maintain, harvest, and pack vegetable crops. They will maintain fences, equipment, and irrigation systems. Workers will operate farm tractors, rototillers, and mowers. They will be responsible for preparing soil; planting, pruning, cutting, deadheading, pinching, trimming to shape, spacing plants; fertilizing with granular or liquid fertilizers; cleaning work areas; transporting plant materials in the nursery/greenhouse areas; loading and unloading plants; and all other duties associated with producing crops for Rexcroft Farm. Must be able to work in cold, wet, hot, and humid weather, and be able to work on their feet in bent, stooped, and crouched positions for long periods of time. Between harvesting, workers will be required to perform duties to prepare crops for marketing. 3 months verifiable experience in crop planting and maintenance required. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Random drug testing may be required after hire at employer expense for both foreign and domestic workers. 40 Hours/week. Additional hours required as necessary based on weather and crop progression. Hours may vary based on weather and crop conditions.

Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
