- Job Duties:
- Currently have or have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL. Be able to perform duties such as, but not
limited to, load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related
equipment or other equipment as necessary. Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons,
including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products or other agricultural materials
to spray equipment or customers. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or
covers. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Inspect and maintain vehicle
supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in
proper working condition. Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles. Maintain records, such as
vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations. Drive vehicles
with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as,
other company locations, customer farms, airport, or to our application equipment. Use and maintain
the tools or equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing or measuring devices.
Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, or spark
plugs.
