Job Duties:

The worker will perform on-farm livestock slaughter and meat processing, duties including humane harvesting of livestock, skinning, eviscerating and breaking carcasses into primal and retail cuts, trimming, deboning, grinding and packaging meat products, operating and maintaining knives, saws, grinders, and other meat processing equipment, labeling and storing meat in accordance with food safety standards, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tools and equipment, following USDA, state and farm food-safety and sanitation procedures, assisting with cold storage inventory, and performing related farm duties as assigned.

Special Requirements:

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of cell phones during work hours is prohibited, supervisors will have phones in case of emergency. Drug testing will be performed after hire, randomly, upon accident, incident, or suspicion and will be performed at the expense of the employer.
