Job Duties:
Workers will operate 180-500hp farm machinery to till, plant, spray, cultivate, and harvest corn, hay, and bean crops. Workers will maintain and repair equipment and facilities, to include grounds maintenance of mowing, weedeating, and blowing trimmings. Must be physically able to regularly lift 50 lbs, may move hay bales to and from trucks by hand and clean feed bunks, climb and check grain bins, and have no fear of heights. Workers will assist with and feed cattle, hauling manure, check and make repairs to farm fencing, water troughs and farm buildings. No smoking is allowed on property or housing. Workers must have 2 months experience of heavy equipment operation, tech or GPS navigation experience is helpful. Drug screens will be conducted upon accident or incident and will be at the cost of the employer. Failure or refusal of the drug test is grounds for immediate termination. During peak times, workers may work in excess of 80 hours per week, this will be at the request and sole discretion of the employer.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may request additional work hours based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only. In the event that a worker must miss a day of work, workers MUST contact the employer to notify of absence. Workers who do not contact the employer may be written up as a no call/no show which can lead to termination upon repeated events.
