Job Duties:

This is a manual labor position. Workers will assist in the installation of concrete pads used for livestock feeding operations and facilities. Workers will use mechanical and hand tools as well as operate machinery for the installation of the concrete. Workers may also be required to assist with keeping debris off the pad and finishing the concrete work. Workers will also assist in the collection of manure out of slurry pits and lagoons. Workers will lay hoses for manure extraction out of the pits/lagoons. Upon successful manure collection, manure will be stockpiled and turned using shovels to help it dry out. Workers will assist in turning of manure using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools until manure is properly dried. Any tasks derived from a Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) other than the SOC designated in this job order are strictly incidental in nature, performed only on an occasional basis, and constitute less than the majority of the contractual period, and shall not be construed as reflective of the primary occupation for which certification is sought.

No minimum education requirement. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
