- Job Duties:
- We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season. Employees will need to assist with all aspects of planting, raising, spraying and harvesting corn, alfalfa and grass. Employees will operate agricultural equipment including late model John Deere equipment, tractors, combine, and grain trucks. Job duties include: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, fertilize, harvest, and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant, fertilize, and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. May occasionally help with feed delivery. Worker will participate in manure hauling and application. Employees will be required to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
