- Job Duties:
- Clean, cultivate and prepare fields for planting by hand or use of mechanical equipment or vehicles; Plant or apply seeds to fields by hand or use of mechanical equipment or vehicles; Water and/or apply fertilizer by hand or use of mechanical equipment or vehicles; Clip, mow, maintain sod fields by hand or use of mechanical equipment or vehicles; Cut, roll and prepare sod for transportation by hand or use of mechanical equipment or vehicles; Load sod onto and from farm owned transportation vehicles or customer vehicles; Installation job duties are performed as incidental to or in conjunction with the agricultural operation and account for less than half of the total work duties. Transport and install sod produced on the farm by hand or mechanical equipment or vehicles; Clean, repair and maintain pallets and other equipment utilized for the cultivation and transportation of sod. Employers will provide gloves and knee pads for any hand-weeding and -thinning. Workers with the proper licensing may deliver sod to various locations within the El Paso, Elbert and Douglas Counties.

- Worker must be able to lift, carry and load up to 75 pounds of weight on a repetitive basis. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid post-hire random or post-accident drug testing in accordance with state law. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated.
