Job Duties:

Farm landscaping workers will provide landscaping, grounds maintenance, and landscape installation services directly to operational agricultural farms, including horse farms, crop farms, nurseries, and other agriculture-related farm operations. All work performed supports agricultural use, safety, access, and the overall functionality of farm properties. Duties will include, but are not limited to: · Mowing, trimming, and maintaining grass and vegetation around barns, paddocks, fields, fencing, drive lanes, and farm structures · Clearing brush, weeds, and overgrowth to maintain safe and accessible farm operations · Maintaining farm roads, ditches, drainage areas, and work zones · General grounds upkeep to support ongoing agricultural production Landscape maintenance and installation duties on farms may include: · Installation of landscape plants, trees, shrubs, and groundcover on farm properties · Mulching, soil preparation, grading, and light landscape bed installation around farm structures · Maintaining planted areas through pruning, weeding, edging, and seasonal cleanup · Repair and upkeep of farm landscape areas to control erosion, improve drainage, and maintain safe working conditions Equipment and tools used will include standard farm and landscaping equipment, including hand tools and powered tools such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, chainsaws, leaf blowers, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and other basic tools commonly used for farm grounds maintenance and agricultural landscape work.

Workers will need to be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Additionally, workers must be in good health to perform labor activities, with no limitation to bend down or carry weight (under regulated laws or norms of weight and safety procedures), as well as no limitation on extensive sitting, walking, bending, stopping, pushing, or pulling.
