Job Duties:

Assist with the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest handling of crops, including working with bins and augers; Perform repairs and maintenance on farm vehicles, equipment, and machinery; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation systems, including moving wheel lines; Update farm managers on crop development; Operate tractors, tractor-pulled equipment, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, fertilize soil, or plant, cultivate, irrigate, spray, and harvest crops such as beans, corn, hay, and onions; Load agricultural products into trucks, ensuring proper fill levels, and transport them to markets or storage; Clean work areas and care for grounds, including rock picking and weed removal in fields; Manage environmental conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures

Special Requirements:

A minimum of 2 (two) months of recent and verifiable experience is required for the listed job duties. The worker must be able to obtain the necessary drivers license after hire and maintain a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs is required. Upon hiring, the worker may be required to undergo a random drug test at no cost to them. Testing positive for an illegal or controlled substance, or failure to comply with the testing process, may result in immediate termination of employment.
