Job Duties:
We need seasonal employees complete hay harvesting duties including cutting, swathing, raking and baling. Employees will also need to assist with stacking bales and hauling from fields to storage locations. Employees will need to complete daily maintenance on haying equipment in order to keep the equipment running efficiently. Must be able to operate any equipment safely and efficiently for long hours. Daily maintenance on balers, including blowing machine off, cleaning windows and restocking twine. At our workshop we will need to do small engine repair, welding and maintenance. On the base location (our farm) employees will need to assist with general farm, yard and farm building upkeep. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion.

Special Requirements:
Require a regular driver's license. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing/pulling, frequent stooping, repetitive movements, lifting 100lbs hay bales and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Requires 3 months experience.
