Job Duties:

Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, Cotton Pickers and Cotton Strippers, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or planters, fertilize, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops. Till soil; plant and cultivate crops. Drive and operate self-propelled Cotton Stripper and Cotton Pickers. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest crops. Farming with: Cotton, Hay, Winter Wheat

Special Requirements:

No experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
