Job Duties:

Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, and fertilize. They will drive trucks to haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. Harvested crops from the fields will be loaded and driven to the farm for storage or to the local elevator. There will be no commercial hauling and the crops loaded will be the property of David Glinz. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after receiving instructions and must be team players when necessary. Employees must have a valid, insurable driver's license or be capable of obtaining one within 30 days. Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. NO TEXTING. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours. No Educational level required. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English for inventory purposes and safety reasons. Must have 3 months of experience with skid steers, forklifts, tractors with towed grain carts and augers

No smoking in the equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds. No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours is otherwise discouraged. No Educational level required. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must have 3 months of experience of operating skid steers and forklifts, tractors with towed grain carts and augers set up and take down.
