Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Attend to Live animals including Deer and Cattle, Perform Duties related to reproduction such as birthing, weaning, artificial insemination, processing, etc; Hand Feed; Catch animals and transfer to enclosures; Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease to detect symptoms or abnormality after birth and through development; Report animal conditions and progress to farm managers. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Feed and water Animals. Operate tractor and tractor pulled implements such as mowers, swathers, balers, etc to mow, cut and harvest crops such as hay and forage; Spray pesticide and control vegetation. Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
