Job Duties:

We are a 3300 acre row crop operation primarily growing peanuts, cotton, milo and black eyed peas. We run Case and John Deere equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cotton, grain sorghum, hay, wheat.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
