- Job Duties:
- Field Crew duties include seeding, transplanting, planting, weeding, maintainence and harvesting of cut flowers and greens throughout the growing season. This role is responsible for participating in the cultivation of cut flowers and greens alongside other team members, and reporting to the Farm Manager. Other duties include quality control, packaging and transport of flowers for market, and maintainence of farm infrastructure, including irrigation and fencing. Applicants should have agricultural or landscape experience, and profficiency with weed whackers is a plus. They should be comfortable working in all types of weather, and be able to lift 50lbs. Success in this role depends on efficiency and attention to detail- crew members are expected to harvest at a rate of 10 stems per minute. Biweekly pay will be paid up to and including the 14th day (pay day).
