Job Duties:

Drive tractors/trucks and perform a variety of crop (hay and corn) raising duties at various Mammoser Farm properties. Plow, harrow, plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray and harvest. The workers will also load and transport harvested crops from field to storage. Pick stones, clean out and repair fence line. Manure pushing/spreading, barn cleaning. Performs following duties to prepare pastures for cultivation, and harvest by livestock: 1) Attaches farm (pasture) implements such as side mowers, laneway leveler. Drives gators (UTV) to various paddocks. Uses weed Wacker to trim fence lines along with hand tools. 2) Drives vehicles to pastures and tows attached implement back and forth across pastures manipulating levers that activate and position implement parts to level soil. 3) Loads and drives truck to transport farm supplies and tools, such as fertilizer and pesticide chemicals, trellis poles and wires, hoes and shovels, and farm workers to specified locations. 4) Drives and operates self-propelled brush hog to mow pastures. 5) Adds oil, gasoline, and water to appropriate tanks on machinery that are designated to their position. 6) Paints farm structures, and replaces fence and trellis wires when weather and season preclude driving activities. 9) May record pasture rotation records. 10) May spray fertilizer and pesticide solutions in required areas. 11) Responsible for underground water lines that supply water to the individual pastures for the herd to drink. 12) Responsible for pumping water from creeks/wells to holding tanks used for livestock hydration. 13) Tree limb trimming around fence lines and laneways. 14) Ensure electric fences are hot and functioning. 15) Responsible for all temporary fence line construction and removal for various paddocks. 16) All other duties as assigned on as need basis for farm pasture workers The workers requested are already here in the U.S. working on a separate job order for Mammoser Farms. The total number of workers needed is 16, but only 10 are requested on this order. Workers will work 7:00am to 4:00pm with a half hour for lunch. Additional hours required as necessary based on weather and crop progression. Hours may vary based on weather and crop conditions. Overtime available as needed.

Special Requirements:

Ability to lift 80 lbs. with assistance. 3 months of verifiable experience in pastures related work. Random drug testing may conduct upon suspicion to both domestic and H-2A workers for safety of workers post hire. Hours may vary based on weather and crop conditions. Class D driver's license required or valid foreign license. Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license; no one will be rejected for this position that does not possess a drivers license.
