Job Duties:

Crops: Broccoli and Lettuce. Duties may include: Harvesting: Workers walk behind field pack machine, bend to near ground level and cut commodity with knife after determining the quality is acceptable. Worker will then pitch commodity into conveyor machine. Workers will check quality and put into boxes. Worker will use plastic bags to pack commodity, then seal with tape. Workers will stack boxes onto pallets. Field work: Workers will be planting, cultivating, pulling or hoeing weeds in vegetable fields, carry and connect irrigation pipe, tilling soil, thinning, counting and checking crops. Include driving and controlling equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. perform any other duties associated with field work and vegetable production & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).

Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 40lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.
