Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform duties related to SOC 45-2092, job duties include: Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment which may include changing tires, oil, brakes, greasing, fixing damaged equipment. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Clean work areas, including organizing shops and barns and maintain grounds and landscaping. Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, and physical condition. Move equipment, poultry, or livestock from one location to another, manually or using trucks or carts. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Must speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
